Foreign tourists are “flocking” Albania, considering it as a worthy holiday destination. This is confirmed by the Institute of Statistics, according to which, the number of the tourists from Poland increased by 41,9% during the month of April this year. On the other hand, INSTAT confirms that Albania is being “abandoned” by its traditional visitors, from countries such as Italy and Greece.
The number of Italian visitors visiting Albania has dropped by 7.1%, while the number of Greek visitors has dropped by 22.6%.
“In April 2018, the number of foreign nationals entering the country is 351. 610. Compared to April 2017, this number has dropped by 2,2%. The number of foreign nationals entering the country in the first four months of 2018 is 1.028.498 or 7% higher than in the same period in 2017”, INSTAT also reports. /ibna/
