The European Federation of Journalists has voted today in favor of a resolution which demands investigations over the assasination of journalists in Kosovo.
This organization demands more effective investigations over the killing and kidnapping of journalists in Kosovo from 1998 to 2005. EFJ demands investigations to take place on the kidnapping of journalists Gjuro Slavuj and Ranko Perenic, the assassination of Afrim Maliqi, Enver Maloku, Aleksandar Simovic, Kriste Gegaj, Momir Stokuqa, Shefki Popova, Xhemal Mustafa, Bekim Kastrati and Bardhyl Ajeti and the disappearance of Lubomir Knezhev, Marjan Melonashi and the kidnapping of Mila Bulevic.
The resolution also demands the collaboration of prosecutors from Belgrade and Pristina in order to shed light upon these cases. /ibna/
