The Albanian minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs, Ditmir Bushati is in Israel where he’s participating in the proceedings of the 18th International Conference on the war against terrorism, hosted by the International Institute for Counter-Terrorism (ICT).
In his address, minister Bushati talked about Albania’s engagement in the fight against terrorism and violent extremism, stressing on the introduction of new incentives which relate to education, religious harmony, respecting the rights of minorities, values of tolerance and the drafting of strategic, social, legal, educational and economic policies.
Bushati said that “fight against terrorism is not and will not be easy, but there’s no other alternative to it. Our cooperation should cross every boundary.”
“We need to do everything to fight radicalism and terrorism by addressing different complex issues in environments which act as a safe haven for terrorists”, Bushati declared. /ibna/
